24 days home

Hey there bubs!
It's been 24 days since you came home. Can you believe it? 24 days you have learned at least 10 signs, you have learned what love is, what a family is, and how to run and play with out a care! 24 days you have been here, with us, not there in Russia, HERE in the U.S.A!

You had ALOT of firsts this weekend. Like for instance we went to Seaside (My favorite beach.) We drove 2 and 1/2 long hours in the car, which you fell to sleep for the most part.

BATH TIME!!

Then you went to sleep.
The next morning we woke up and at breakfast.
You looked out the window while sitting in bubba Josh's arms.

Then I let you stand on the table (bad Sissy.) And look out.

It was REALLY sunny!

We walked to a nice soft pile of sand..

You were Happy! :D :D

When Josh came down he burried your legs in the sand, you enjoyed it!

We found a swing set, YOU LOVED IT!

We all took turns pushing you.

After we swang for awhile we went back to the room to get cleaned off and ready for......

SWIMMING! You LOVED it!

You were adorable in the water you loved to sing Wheels on the Bus and do alll of the motions.
When we finished swimming we got ready and walked to our favorite place, PIG'N PANCAKE. (You fell to sleep on the was there.) After we ate we went into the Carousel Mall and there was a HUGE carousel, you liked the look of it, with its lights and moving horsey's...

But once it started you clung onto me for dear life, (I can't say that I didn't enjoy it, because I did, You were holding me so tight it was so sweet) every time we passed certain people they would smile at us then start talking to one and other.

We went into the toy store after that and you got a cute little turtle. :D
We then walked back to our room, the beach was FULL of people and so was the town, I dont think i've seen it that full. It was so nice and sunny.

We got back to the room and went a played on the swings again (Sorry I do not have pictures from this time because my camera broke... :( )

We went to the pizza plave where MaeMae won 530 tickets and you at pizza, then back to the room and then SWIMMING AGAIN! We went to bed and woke up this morning, you and I looked out the window some more,  

You watched Basketball as we loaded the car to get ready to head home.

After we loaded the car with bags, and people too, we headed to PIG'N PANCAKE and ate lunch.

You fell to sleep but as soon as the food got there you were wide awake. 

It was a fun weekend, full of firsts, loves, happiness, and FUN!

3 weeks home...

Wow! Three weeks you have been here with us? Really? It seems longer... Like FOREVER!
So in the past couple of days you learned ALOT of signs, as you can see here on mama's blog.

We are going to the beach this weekend! It's gonna be a blast! I love the beach, and hope you do too! :)

You are so sweet and cute, you love people, and being outside at games, you love bread and soft pretzels!

A Week and a half.

Okay first off, Vahnya boy, We have been so busy lately.
I mean with you being home, softball, baseball, and me with my musical.
So To wrap up the first week in a blue bow, IT WAS SURRREAL! Baby, it still is.
Mommy said that today you signed "More" :) which is really good, because we have been trying to teach you it. Buddy, you have gotten so chubby. :D
Its so cute! I love you baby!
I'll always be afraid of flying. But with you I can do anything.

So right now Vahnya, you are laying right beside me, on my bed, you are asleep. You are so sweet when you sleep. Sunday after we ate lunch at grandma and grandpas you and I came home and you were getting a little fussy.
I took you in my arms, stood up, and swayed back and forth singing all the lull-a-byes I know.

Home. (Sorry its taken me so long)

Hey, Vahnya (I can finally use your real name)
You came home to us on March 30, 2011 at 8:45pm you stepped off the airplane.
Let me take you back at 6:00pm on March 30th, We meaning Madi, Kenzi, Jordan, MaeMae, and I walked down to QFC to get you a little suprise we bought you this balloon.

And Some cupcakes

Then we waited for uncle steve to come over so he could take us to the airport.

It took us about 15-20 minutes to get there. I was shaking the whole time, wondering what I would feel when I finally hold you, wondering if you would love me? I was texting my friends the whole time and updating my facebook status, counting down the minutes. When we got there, a calm feeling came over me, and just then I got a text from one of my dear friends Caitlin, she said she just had her youth group pray for us. :)

We got out of the car and aunt Jacky and uncle Steve, and our cousins got out..

 We waited......

 There was a play structure were MaeMae and your cousins played.

Then at 8:45pm your plane landed, We held up our banner...

 

We saw you guys coming around the corner..

And when I finally saw you, you were more than I could have ever imagined!!!!!!

You are so precious, and smart. You looved the legos at the airport.

Every one loved you! I was the first to hold you, your little giggle was so amazing to hear!

The waiting was over 1year and 20 days later! I love you buddy!!!

When we got home you just ran around, giggling, exploring. You give the sweetest hugs and kisses. Right now you are taking a nap.

45 minutes

We will be leaving our house in about 45 minutes to go to the airport and wait for you to arrive!
We bought you a balloon and some cupcakes! :)

FOREVER INSEPARABLE

So, after a YEAR and a few weeks, of hard times and tears, excitement and joy, family togetherness and realizing how much we love each other, after making new friends and saving an orphan, YOU Vahnya Josiah Nine, will be on American soil in mama's and dada's arms in less than 24HRS!!!! And you and I will meet and be forever inseparable!
I can't believe it!
I don't even know this feeling I'm feeling right now bud!
I just want to jump and fly! I want to do 50 cartwheels! My heart is pounding as fast as a cheetah can run!
I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!
I'll soon be posting pictures of You in my arms!
